Hiking With Dogs

This well-known park is great for socializing and exercising with your pup. Usually, we pick more isolated trails, but we sure enjoyed this popular park.

Hello mates and petmates ;) Ava (my dog) and I were back in Mammoth this year to play in the snow with some friends and try something new for 2013. Cross country skiing with my pup has never crossed my mind until 1 week ago.

Big Bear week-end was incredible and full of fun memories ;) It all started with a ‘little’ warm-up (before hiking with Ava) - Tough Mudder , Snow Valley Resort, Saturday July 7 th   8:00am wave! 10+miles up mostly/down hill course with 21 challenging obstacles . This was an amazing experience and I sure will be doing another one in 2013 or maybe even sooner.

Ava and I are back from our 1 night backpacking and camping at the Spruce Grove camp , located at the Angeles National Forest . It was an amazing first time experience, backpacking and camping! We did a pretty good job packing and could of stayed another couple of nights with all the food supplies and clothes that I carried. Plus the running creek along the trail and at the campsite would provide plenty of water to drink from (using water filter/pump recommended).
